Tyrese had a little scare while performing on stage during the Valentine's Love Jam in Detroit when a female fan from the audience hopped up on stage. The actor was caught off guard and reacted by shoving the woman.
In a video from the concert obtained by TMZ, a woman from the audience can be seen approaching Tyrese on stage as was preparing to exit the stage.
The actor told the crowd, "I love y'all," before wiping his face with a towel. At the moment Tyrese was wiping the perspiration from his face, the woman walked towards him. The actor was obviously surprised when the female fan began to wrap her arms around him for a hug as he uncovered his face.
Tyrese went into defense mode and shoved the woman backwards. The woman wasn't injured, except possibly her pride. Security at the venue rushed to remove the woman from the stage.
It took Tyrese a moment to figure out what had just happened. The actor then gestured towards the crowd to let them know everything was fine. He even walked over to the edge of the stage to greet a few fans.

Tyrese appears to be having a much better year in 2018, following some rather bizarre behavior and battling depression.
The "Fast & Furious" actor had fans concerned about his well-being with his antics on social media after his ex-wife had accused him of abusing their daughter.
The "Baby Boy" star is battling his ex-wife in court after she accused him of beating their daughter. Norma claims Tyrese spanked their daughter so hard that she was unable to even sit down. Her accusations led to the Los Angeles County of Department of Children and Family Services investigating him.
The actor raised eyebrows when he posted an emotional video to Instagram about his custody battle. His ex, Norma Gibson, had obtained a restraining order that kept him from seeing his daughter Shayla.
Tyrese revealed he was paying $13,000 a month, but had been barred from seeing his daughter Shayla for over two months.
"Don’t take my baby please, don’t take my baby," he said while breaking down. "This is all I got, this is all I got, this is all I got. Don't take my baby, OK? I’ve been away from my baby for two months. I just want my baby and no one’s listening because no one is in the court room."
Norma was also seeking full custody of their 10-year-old daughter. Tyrese claimed he was going broke trying to fight for his parental rights in court.
The mother of #TyreseGibson's daughter has accused the actor of breaching a temporary restraining order placed on him due to the current child abuse accusations against the actor. The claims were made after a plane carrying a banner reading 'No matter what, Daddy loves you Shayla' flew over the preteen's school in Los Angeles. The 10-year-old was reportedly 'mortified' by the public display, which came ahead of her Tuesday court date to testify against her father. Norma Gibson, Shayla’s mother, believes that this is an attempt by Tyrese to sway their daughters testimony in court.
Tyrese later addressed his posts on social media, explaining prescription medication he was given for depression had caused his breakdown. Thankfully, the actor was able to defend himself against his ex-wife's allegations. His visitation with his daughter Shayla was reinstated.
Tyrese also revealed that his wife Samantha is pregnant with their first child together.
