New Allegations Involving R. Kelly & 13-Year-Old Girl Surface After Latest Arrest

March 10, 2019 6:40 AM
It appears things are continuing to go from bad to worse for R. Kelly.

On Friday, February 22nd, the 52-year-old was arrested and indicted on 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse -- a class 2 felony -- involving four alleged victims, three of whom were minors.

Prosecutors in the case shared multiple details documents outlining the charges as the allegations go as far back as 1998.

On Wednesday (March 6th), the 52-year-old broke his silence about in a controversial interview with CBS’ Gayle King. His emotional and yelling pleas of innocence in the sit-down fell on deaf eyes as he was dragged on social media for giving the ill-advised interview.

After the interview aired, R. Kelly went to court for his child support case and was sent back behind bars as he has been unable to pay his $166,000 debt.

Now the disgraced crooner is being accused of raping a 13-year-old girl and giving her a sexually transmitted infection.

CBS reports that Law Enforcement in Detroit are looking into new allegations against. R. Kelly.

Now 30-year-old, the woman in question says that she first slept with R. Kelly at a hotel in December 2001. She added that she went to see Kelly for approximately four years before he eventually gave her herpes when she was 17-years-old.

The alleged victim no longer lives in Michigan but she will be flown in for an interview.

The Detroit Police Chief told CBS: "We are eagerly waiting to speak to the alleged victim."

What are your thoughts on these new allegations?

R. Kelly is speaking out for the first time since his arrest last month.

The disgraced singer talked to CBS’ Gayle King about the constant allegations of engaging with underage girls and reports of sexual misconduct.

"They are still talking about you with under-aged girls. Do you still sit here and say you have never been with underage girls? Can you really say that?" asked King.

"I will tell you this. People are going back to the past. Okay?" said Kelly. "That's exactly what they're doing. They're going back to the past and they're trying to add all of this stuff now to that, to make all of this stuff going on now… feels real to people."

R. Kelly got emotional as he expressed loudly with tears that he was not guilty of abusing young girls or for allegedly holding women against their will in a sex cult.

"That’s stupid! Use your common sense. Forget how you feel about me. Hate me if you want to, love me if you want. Just use your common sense," he added. "How stupid would it be for me, with my crazy past and what I have been through in my way-way past? [...] That's stupid guys. Use your common sense.

"Oh, right now I need to be a monster and hold girls against their will and chain them in my basement and don’t let them eat and don't let them out? Unless they need some shoes from their uncle. Stop it! You all quit playin'."

He then emotionally yells into the camera: "I didn’t do this stuff! This is not me, y'all. I am fighting for my f[expletive]ing life!"

Heralded by many as the King of R&B, Kelly makes now that he was acquitted of child pornography charges nearly 10 years ago. "Old rumors, new rumors, future rumors. Not true," he continued.

"You can’t double jeopardy me. That’s not fair. When you beat your case, you beat your case,” he said, referring the acquittal."
