"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" Star Kirk Frost Arrested For ATV Shenanigans [PHOTOS]
Kirk Frost was part of around 400 bike riders on motorized vehicles that were causing havor in the streets of East Atlanta. The riders were reportedly running red lights, riding on the sidewalks, and generally terrorizing the streets of the area.
A police officer attempted to approach the bikers and was reportedly surrounded with the men "popping wheelies and driving very recklessly.”
Officers noticed the Frost, who was riding a red Polaris Slingshot, was one of the main riders driving recklessly and arrested him for reckless driving, operating an unregistered vehicle, failure to stop for an emergency vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the roadway and five counts of failure to obey a traffic control device.
Police responded after multiple 911 calls about the reckless drivers. Police reported that Frost "ran several more red lights while traveling on the wrong side of the road around 25 miles per hour".
Bikers noticed the reality star was being taken into custody, responding by circling back and taunting the officers. Some riders even jumped on police vehicles and broke windows.
Police spokesperson Sgt. Greg Lyon issued the following statement regarding the crowd behavior and damage to city property:
“An Atlanta police car was damaged by individuals who were riding recklessly in a pack of at least 100 ATVs and motorcycles throughout the city. One of the ATVs stalled at the intersection of Northside and Marietta. An officer who was monitoring the group attempted to apprehend the driver of the stalled ATV on foot and injured his leg as he fell on gravel during a brief foot chase. As he engaged in a foot chase, several members of the pack doubled back around, climbed on the hood of the empty patrol vehicle and began to kick the front windshield, causing damage. The ATV was processed and impounded.”
