Kandi Burruss may not be interested in recording new music with Xscape with all that she has on her plate these days. However, the reality star wants the world to know there is no bad blood between her and the other bandmates.
Tiny Harris, La Tocha Scott and Tamika Scott have signed a new deal with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for worldwide representation.
The new deal won't include Kandi and they've changed up their name from Xscape to Xscap3.
Burruss took part in The Great Xscape tour, but stated that she doesn't want to hurt their legacy by recording any additional music.
Kandi also has plenty to keep her busy these days. She is currently starring in the Broadway play Chicago.
I had to stop by the Chicago Theater to get fitted. I can’t believe I will be starring in this show!!!! This is a dream come true for me. Make sure to get tickets! Click the link in my IG bio. I will be there January 15th- March 11th
Burruss does plan to reunite with the group to continue performing in the summer though.

There were problems in the group after Tamika claimed Kandi cause the band to split years ago.
In an interview with Hot 97 in 2007, Tamika stated that the band broke up after Kandi slept with their label head Jermaine Dupri and his father, music industry executive Michael Mauldin.
Kandi later admitted in a 2010 interview with radio personality Angela Yee that she had been with Jermaine Dupri, but not his father.
"He and I, we crossed the line of friendship, let's say that," she revealed. "But that had nothing to do with why the group broke up. [Tamika] knew that, she actually came back and apologized to me. It was really like some old hating type of stuff she was doing because, I don't know, I guess because I was still continuously doing something. So she just threw that out there trying to diss me so it wouldn't look like her sister really broke up the group."
"I couldn't believe she would do me like that, I really couldn't," Kandi said. "For her to do that, it just felt like she really had hatred for me and I just didn't want to deal with that no more. I was just like uh uh and I was done."
Tamika apologized to Kandi during her Unsung interview for hurting her, and again apologized to her on stage this past July.
Kandi previously admitted, "It’s always drama. We all think differently when it comes to handling business, or at least, the three of them think differently than me. It’s always them three against me, and I feel like I’m always made to be the villain. It’s really irritating and stressful."
😁 @taetv caught me in action! Thanks for getting me together today! 😘 💄
Kandi is showing her support to the group on social media. She shared a photo of the three band members, writing in the caption, "I want to send love to my girls #Xscap3 & congratulate them on the moves they're making! I want everybody to know that there is no drama. It's still love with us. I support what they're doing with the new music & I want ya'll to do the same. Pre-order their new EP "Here For It." Also get your ticket to #EssenceFest2018 because we're all coming together to rock the stage again! #xscape."
I absolutely love @tamiroman! Her & her daughter was too cute in their 90s look! We all were taking them back last night. #Xscape @officialbonnetchronicles
One of Burruss' followers commented on the post and brought up the past drama. The fan wrote, "On the real Kandi I feel like you still salty. And a bit stuck up with this move. Xscape could have been xscape3 years ago without you. If they had did that you probably would have sued. It’s just crazy to have the group come back together when all you wanted was an apology…And I understand getting a country for that apology."

Kandi responded to the fan and made it known she has no issues with her bandmates.
She responded, "Why do you want us to be mad? They did shows with just the 3 of them a long time ago. I wasn’t mad then & I’m not mad now. Why can’t you just be happy for all of us & what we chose to do with our lives?…. We did a tour for our fans. It was awesome. We don’t have to do everything together. It’s not a bad thing. We’re grown & living our best life. I hope the same for you Luv."
