Nas is throwing out all of his financial information, in his ongoing battle with ex-wife Kelis over child support.
TMZ reports that the musician filed legal documents that prove he makes about $175k per month from various sources (i.e. music, investments, etc.) and he has more than $8.3 million in the bank.
Um, good for him.
He lists his monthly expenses at $76,834.04; that includes $20,245.70 that goes to helping various family members, including his father. Nas also claims he pays $15k per month in rent.
Why are these details making the rounds? Because he and Kelis are at odds over money, money, money.
She says the $8k he forks over each month to care for their son, Knight, isn’t cutting it anymore.
The judge has yet to decide how much she will receive.
Hm. Nas reportedly just received $40 million from Amazon’s $1.1 billion acquisition of Ring, thanks to his early investment in the company.
Maybe he can use some of this to settle his tax bill.
Bossip previously claimed that he owed $300K in back taxes to the state of Georgia; the liens state that the rapper owes money from 2007 and 2010. It seems that he has paid a portion of his tax debt but that he still had plenty to hand over at the time.
Oh and Kelis also dropped some intense allegations about his behavior during their marriage.
“When the Rihanna and Chris Brown pictures came out I thought about coming out because I also had bruises all over my body. But I didn’t say anything because I’m private. But seeing her the way she looked and then looking at myself… I felt embarrassed.”
“His memory is definitely faulty. I’ve waited 9 years to say anything. I have never talked about this man. The amount of airing out that I could do and don’t do is what our kids will find out.” Kelis also stated, hinting that he had a drinking problem.

Singer/songwriter turned chef Kelis has finally broken her silence on her violent marriage with legendary rapper Nas and the current status of their custody battle.
Nas previously insisted that he had attempted "to work cooperatively with Kelis over the years," but she only allowed him visitation with Knight "when she deems it convenient for her."
The duo's divorce was finalized in 2010; it is considered one of the most expensive split in hip-hop history. Nas was apparently ordered to shill over $350,000 in the divorce settlement, in addition to monthly support.
