Los Angeles County child welfare officials are reportedly investigating the well-being of 10-month-old Dream. The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services are investigating Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian to determine if the child is in a safe environment.
The former couple, whose tumultuous relationship played out on the E! reality show "Rob & Chyna", confirmed their split in March after a year together. The split came just four months after they welcomed their daughter, Dream.
The DCFS had now opened an investigation into Chyna's alleged drug use before the couple's messy split.
Chyna, who currently has a restraining order against Rob, was accused of doing drugs and sleeping around in a foul-mouthed rant on social media by Kardashian in July.
Chyna responded by obtaining a restraining order against him, claiming he had been physically abusive during their relationship.
People magazine reported that Kardashian resents Chyna and believes she is "evil." However, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star is trying to be amicable for the sake of their daughter.
An insider said, "[Rob was] basically told to shut up and lay low until he and Chyna come to an agreement. There have been concerns that he will lose custody."
Rob misses his daughter when she's with her mother and wants to ensure she is having the best life possible.
According to TMZ, LA county department of children and family services do not feel both parents are not responsible enough to put their child first and they(DCFS)have gone to court to make sure Dream is safe by using a decency court so as to determine the safety of the child. Question is.....who would have temporary custody of the child.....#tokyotoni 👀👀 or #krisjenner #letoyinspeak #kardashian #blacchyna #robkardashian
An insider said, "Everyone wants him to be quiet and not get into any more trouble. He isn't happy about going to court, but he also isn't agreeing with Chyna's demands. [Rob] isn't healthy, and isn't making huge efforts to get healthier, but he does really care about Dream. He loves spending time with her. He always misses Dream when she is with Chyna."
ROB KARDASHIAN AND BLAC CHYNA CLOSE TO CUSTODY DEAL. Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are close to an agreement for custody and child support, but they're not there yet. Sources familiar with the case tell TMZ, lawyers from both sides as well as Rob and Chyna themselves have been hashing out a joint custody arrangement for months. We're told they are not far apart over the division of physical custody -- each is fine giving the other substantial physical custody. It's significant because the Dept. of Children and Family Services opened a case even before Rob and Chyna split over her alleged drug use. We're told it's still an open case in L.A. County Dependency Court. Our sources say Rob believes Chyna can handle parental responsibilities. We're told, however, the Kardashian women are not as understanding and believe there are serious questions about Chyna's fitness because of the drug allegations. We're told there's something more problematic ... child support. Our sources say Chyna wants a lot ... way more than Rob thinks she deserves, but it appears there's been some movement toward a compromise. Because there's an open case in Dependency Court, we're told any custody agreement must be signed off by that judge. Short story ... they're getting a lot closer to hashing things out. #enews #entertainmentnews #robkardashian #blacchyna
Chyna's attorney, Lisa Bloom, previously stated that the former couple are attempting to come to a resolution on child custody when their case goes back to court on September 18.
Bloom stated, "We are attempting to work out an amicable resolution of all issues. If that fails, we will go forward with the hearing on September 18 so that the court will impose long-term consequences on Mr. Kardashian for his vicious online attacks on Blac Chyna."
